John W. Thomas

In July, JDRM Engineering said goodbye to recent retiree and electrical engineer John Thomas.

JT’s career with our company began with JDRM’s acquisition of Rightmyer, Johnson & Associates in July of 1998, which he joined in January of 1978. Although working on the Mechanical Engineering side, he almost immediately migrated to the Electrical team. There JT became a go-to Electrical Designer, accumulating his BSEE degree along the way.

JT’s been married to his wife, Cathy, for over 30 years, meeting her at Rossi & Associates when he used to make deliveries there. They’ve enjoyed raising many feline pets during their marriage. Over the years, JT and Cathy have taken numerous trips throughout the United States and especially enjoy visiting family in Florida. He’s been in the process of remodeling his kitchen and hopes to get this project completed now that he has more free time. Enjoy retirement, JT!
