The new Convocation facility features classrooms, student lounges, student respite areas, Chapel, and a 700-seat theater.

JDRM Engineering’s electrical team designed the theatrical dimming system, involving all lighting and controls for the front, stage, and back spots; and a theatrical audio/visual control system. The audio/visual control system design utilizes a central cluster speaker system with delay ring and sub woofers through a 40 x 8 mixing console.

Mechanical system design included fire protection, heating, air conditioning, and ventilation for the 51,000 square foot Convocation facility. The HVAC design incorporates a chilled water cooling system and hot water heating plant with variable air volume, classroom systems and constant volume, sound sensitive emulation unit.
